GOD’S WORD -  OUR FOCUS

 

God’s Word is  alive and powerful  (Heb 4:12).  The Revelation of the Word of God is not dead or irrelevant,  to the contrarily it is  alive and powerful. 

 

Alive and powerful enough to change your circumstances.

Alive and powerful enough to heal and set you free.

Alive and powerful enough to encourage you to walk in victory.

 

Ps 107:20         “He sends forth His Word and heals them, and delivered them from destruction”.

 

How can the Word be alive, powerful and bring healing

Jesus is alive, Jesus is powerful  and Jesus brings healing.

 

John 1:     1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

 

Rom 10:   8 Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God. 9 You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God live in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.  10 But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin,  yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness.

 

IN YOUR HEART?

To read the Word, to study it.

To meditate on the Word.    (Isaiah 1:8)

 

IN YOUR MOUTH?

To say what God said in His Word  (Isaiah 55:10-11 and Isaiah 62:6)

 

YOU CAN TRUST GOD’S WORD!

II Tim 3:16       All Scripture is God breathed

Num 23:19       God is not a man, that he should lie

Ps 119:89          His Word  stands firm in the heavens.

Ps 89:35           His Word is His covenant with us.
